Welcome to the Watershed Science and Hydroecology Lab at Michigan State University!
Our lab investigates the coupled hydrological and ecosystem responses to climate and land use change in watersheds. We focus on exploring the hydrological controls of aquatic and groundwater ecosystem processes. We employ field experiments and monitoring with data science methods and numerical models to generate new knowledge about complex watershed processes. We also innovate in the education and outreach space, helping society connect with and appreciate water resources and nature. Currently, we have projects working across the US, Europe, and Arctic. Our lab is committed to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. And remember six words: Water connects us all, appreciate it! And if you want to join our lab: Water connects us all, study it! -Details of our projects can be found on our Research page. -Find new project products on our Publications page. |
